Pronounced Lampee, this little lake town in Stone County is quaint and has a country feel. It is home to Johnny Morris’ Dogwood Canyon which is a gorgeous nature preserve that offers hiking, biking, fishing, tours, and a restaurant. The town also features the newly revitalized Black Oak Amphitheater which has recently featured artists such as Trace Adkins, Nelly, Skid Row, and Jeff Dunham. Lampe is a Table Rock Lake town just south of Kimberling City off hwy 13. There are a variety of homes in Lampe ranging from starter home to multimillion-dollar lakefront. Lampe is in the Blue Eye school district and is about 30-40 minutes to Branson. For convenience, there is a Dollar General Store in town and the Harter House grocery store in Kimberling City isn’t far.
